EAST BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY SQUARE
In December 2007, the Community Conservation Partnerships Programs administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, awarded grant funding in the amount of $48,000 to East Bethlehem Township for the construction of a "Community Square" project on a vacant parcel of land on Front Street in Fredericktown.  The purpose of this grant is to promote and protect natural areas and open space, provide quality park, recreation and conservation opportunities and to improve the quality of life in Pennsylvania communities.

Through the hard work and generosity of our local legislators, the Board of Commissioners, the Street Department, Art Boyle, Giovanelli Excavating, S&K Concrete and many others, we are able to see this project come to fruition.

The public is invited to enjoy the area.

Much more progress is intended for the area and the river-front.  The Board of Commissioners asks that the residents please treat this area with respect.
